		<description>I heard it on NPR this morning.  They quoted a figure of 20 million D&#38;D players.  The game's cultural impact beyond role-players is huge, though -- think of all of the films and books and games that wouldn't exist if Gygax and Arneson hadn't invented that first little boxed game.</description>
