I felt life just kind of hit me. All my stress and all my recent pain just smacked me in the face and showed itself. I love those moments (the ones you describe, not the one I just did) when you ponder the existence of the universe. It comes in quiet moments. . .and then you usually snap out of it and continue playing Fallout.
